It seems an age since we last met, in tavern, fortress or basement. But the time has come to think again of journeys and adventures and we offer to you this quest: join us at Lumley Castle for D&D in a Castle, 2022. Our Dungeon Masters await you, with treasure, heroism and death at their command.

Returning to live, in-person gaming feels to us like being let out of the dungeon, and we cannot wait to welcome the freed captives to our great Hall.

D&D in a Castle is back in force, with 8 rounds of adventure in 2022, featuring new and familiar talent. All rounds of D&D in a Castle take place at Lumley Castle - a genuine medieval fortress and luxury hotel in County Durham, UK. Dates are as follows.

How to Register and What’s Included
Tickets for D&D in a Castle will become available on August 15, right here on DnDinaCastle.com. Tickets have two components - registration and accommodation.
Registration includes 4 days of exciting activities, including 3 full days of a D&D campaign with a world-class Dungeon Master of your choice, various other gaming activities such as one-shots and an escape room, as well as shuttle transportation to and from Newcastle train station and all meals. Registration is approximately $700 USD per person per night.
Accommodation includes 4 nights in one of Lumley Castle's guest rooms. The castle offers a variety of options from simple rooms in the courtyard to luxury suites in the castle proper. Rates for accommodation start at about $200 USD per person per night based on double occupancy, and are priced per room.
New Features of Registration
This year, for the first time, you can bring a non-player guest to the castle, for the cost of meals and shuttle transportation, $595 USD per person ($148.75 per day). We hope this will allow guests to attend with partners, family or other traveling companions. Non-player guests must be accompanied by a registered, gaming guest.
Payment plans are available for registration and accommodation.
We are also offering travel protection this year, which covers your payments in the event you have to cancel.
