Squire’s Log,
Today is the final day of our D&D in a Castle event, and I cannot believe how quickly the time has flown by. It feels like just yesterday that our guests arrived, eager to embark on their epic quests in the fantastical world of Dungeons & Dragons.
Groups of up to 6 players, each with their own renowned Dungeon Master, have completed their quests, lasting the duration of this event. Some played in rooms in the dungeons, others in the grand reception rooms of the upper floors, and some took up residence in the courtyard rooms. The castle was alive with the sound of battle cries, the clash of weapons, and the hum of magic spells.
The final gaming groups were taken by Jeremy Crawford through a 4-hour adventure to save the Castle from almost certain peril, and even though 6 of them died within the first half hour of one of those sessions, all players still got to participate for the whole of the adventure and emerged ultimately victorious.

The weather was clement enough to emerge into the sunlight for an attempt at archery by the guests. And a new game of sorts has emerged as a competitive sport at the Castle. They call in knuckle dice and it requires much dexterity and agility. This night, the champion was awarded a set of premium metal dice from Forged Gaming as their prize. I shall attempt to perfect my skill for the reward was very fine indeed.
The night ended with a candle-lit closing ceremony in which Jayden King who won the night with a natural 20, which must have been the work of the ghosts, for it can hardly be believed.
As the Castle Squire, I am honoured to have been a part of this magical event, and I know that the memories created here will be cherished by all who attended. So, let us raise our dice and toast to another successful D&D in a Castle event, and to the adventures that await us in the future.
Until next time, dear diary.
Yours truly,
The Castle Squire
