Step 1: Add a Registration for each Guest
Registration includes: all meals, gaming, entertainment and activities, and use of the airport and train station shuttle.
Player Registration: Comes with all meals, a seat in a 24-hour campaigns at the 4-day event, all activities and one-shots.
Hardcore Mode with DM Alcuin Gersh: Purchase your registrations with the last seat for hardcore mode ($750 upgrade on top of the $3250 registration fee) and play for 12 additional hours in your campaign while at D&D in a Castle, for a total of 36 hours of campaign time!
Youth Table: The youth table selection ticket is for guests between 14 and 17 and their adult chaperone (who must also be a playing guest). All player guests ages 14-17 must be registered at the Youth Table with a chaperoning adult. D&D in a Castle involves long hours of D&D and requires the ability to stay focused on the game and contribute to a positive game experience for everyone around the table. All player guests, including youth, are expected to participate maturely at D&D in a Castle.
Non-Campaign Guest Registration: All meals, all activities and one-shots except a campaign.
After adding your registration(s) to your cart, be sure to add accommodation to your purchase so you have a place to stay on site at the castle!
Two people may share one room purchase (except the ‘shared room’ option), as double occupancy is standard at Lumley Castle. Please communicate with contact@dndinacastle.com your roommate situation.

Shared Room: a solo guest may opt to share a twinned bed room with another (unknown or known) registrant by selecting this room.
Courtyard Room: a character-full, and sometimes quirky, room in the buildings attached to the castle with historical features. One queen bed, sleeps up to 2. One queen bed, sleeps up to 2.
Courtyard Room, Twinnable: a Courtyard Room with either two twin beds or one king bed, sleeps 2. Please communicate your bed set-up request to contact@dndinacastle.coms
Castle Room: a beautiful room in the Castle keep.

Deluxe Courtyard Room, Twinnable: a modernized twinnable Courtyard Room with a some extra space and decor.
Deluxe Castle Room, Twinnable: a luxurious twinnable room within the Castle keep. $2,700
Courtyard State Room: make your Courtyard Room a grand and stately one, with four-poster bed and plenty of character and space.
Castle State Room Upgrade: enjoy one of few luxurious State Rooms within the Castle Keep. (Note that castle state rooms have quirky features due to the historic nature of the Castle.)
Bishop's Suite Upgrade: stay in one of the grandest and most beautiful suites in the Castle, with four-poster bed, separate lounge area, plenty of space and a beautiful view.
King James Suite Upgrade: the most royal room you can stay in at Lumley Castle. a converted chapel, this room was built to accommodate King James VI (aka King James I) when he travelled to London to be crowned.
Purchase your room type to suit your desires. Courtyard Rooms are on site and attached to the Castle keep. Castle rooms are located in the main keep of the Castle.

Here you may reserve seats at a particular table and view the available DMs and different gaming options (such as our Hardcore Mode, or Youth Table).
Dungeon Master and Gaming Option reservations are per person. If you have a multiple registrations and only one reservation is made, the remaining guests will remain as unspecified and be assigned 2 months before the event.
Optional Seat Reservation: Once they are released, you can reserve a seat with a DM, or at the Hardcore Mode table, any time up until you are assigned to a table, subject to space.
Reserving a seat with a specific DM: select the DM whose table you want to play at for your 24-hour campaign. The reservation fee is per person.
Hardcore Mode: reserve a hardcore mode seat for $750 and play for 12 additional hours in your campaign while at D&D in a Castle, for a total of 36 hours of campaign time!
Seat reservations are individual. If you do not select a DM or other gaming option, we will assign you to a standard table approximately 2 months prior to the event at no charge.

Upgrade your booking for each guest and receive a 100% refund if you cannot attend for one of the many reasons in our Refund Protection Terms and Conditions, which you accept when you select a Refundable Booking.

Refundable Booking Protection is an add-on purchase that is applicable in certain emergency cancellation situations. This program makes all monies fully refundable up until the event itself for a surcharge (as long as you meet the REFUND TERMS & CONDITIONS of the policy).

A 24-hour Campaign over 4 days with our World-Class Dungeon Masters: With a roster of renowned DMs leading the way, every tale spun promises to be intricate and captivating. You, your DM and 5 other guests in a private gaming space in Lumley Castle, playing all day, every day. Scroll down to see our DMs and gaming options for this event.
Vacation Beyond Imagination: Your 4-day gaming retreat includes all meals, accommodation on site at the castle, non-stop D&D gaming, and more all in the lavish and historic space of Lumley Castle. We will ensure you're well-sated for every session. Dietary and mobility requirements can be accommodated.
Community: The D&D in a Castle community is a safe and inclusive one, where players of all levels of experience are invited to experience the ultimate game of Dungeons & Dragons. Amidst ancient walls, forge unique bonds with fellow D&D enthusiasts as you delve deep into your narratives.
Getting there: Our courtesy guest shuttle will pick you up on April 5th, 2024 at either the Newcastle Train Station, or Newcastle Airport. Please arrive no later than noon.
