D&D in a Castle is a 4-day luxury, all-inclusive tabletop gaming retreat. Guests eat, sleep and game in the Castle for 4 days and nights. Every Player guest joins a 24-hour Campaign with a world-class professional Dungeon Master and up to 5 other guests for 8 hours a day. During the remaining hours, guests can choose between One-Shot games and other Side Quests, such as game-related crafting, workshops, panels and outdoor games. All meals are prepared by the Castle's own chefs, and guests stay in the guest rooms of the Castle, which is also a luxury hotel.

How to Register for D&D in a Castle
Tickets to D&D in a Castle come in two parts: Registration and Accommodation. Registration is priced per-person and one registration is required for each individual guest. Accommodation is priced per room, not per guest. It only needs to be paid for once even if there are two people staying in it. All purchases are refundable for 7 days, per our terms and conditions. Protect your purchase against emergency cancellations with a Refundable Booking option.

Registration has four different types.
Player Registration: Comes with all meals, entertainment, one-shots, side quests, and a seat in a 24-hour Campaign at the 4-day event. $3,250 per player.
Hardcore Mode Registration: For the extreme D&D lover. Play an extra 12 hours of Campaign time. Comes with all meals, entertainment, one-shots, side quests, and a seat in a 36-hour campaign at the 4-day event. $4,000 per Hardcore Mode player.
Chronicle Mode Registration: Embark on an epic double-round adventure spanning two full events, weaving a continuous saga with your DM and fellow players. Comes with all meals, entertainment, one-shots, side quests, and a seat in a 48+ hour campaign over 8 days of both D&D in a Castle Autumn Events. Chronicle Mode Registration also covers accommodation and meals between rounds (Nov. 7-10). $8,050 per Chronicle Mode player.
Family Mode Registration (For Ages 14-17 and their Chaperone Adult): Comes with all meals, a seat in a 24-hour campaigns at the 4-day event, all activities and one-shots. Youth Players must have a chaperone register as a Family Mode guest as well. Family Mode Players will be assigned to a table with other Family Mode Players. The minimum age for attending D&D in a Castle is 14. $3,250 per Family Mode player.
Companion Mode Registration: All meals, entertainment, side quests, and one-shots except a Campaign. $2050 per Companion Mode guest.

Chronicle Mode Guests must purchase accommodation for EACH of the Rounds of the Double Round Campaign at D&D in a Castle. Chronicle Mode Registration also covers accommodation and meals between rounds (Nov. 7-10)

When you purchase a room, you purchase the use of the whole private room. You and anyone attending with you can share that room, as long as you do not exceed the capacity of the room as listed. The only exception is the “Shared Room” option which is for guests travelling solo who want to be paired by us with another solo guest as a roommate, to share the cost of the room.
Some private rooms have space to add extra beds to increase the capacity from 2 to 3 or 4 with a fee of $100 per night. You can email us any time to increase the capacity and we will bill you for the upgrade.
Courtyard Room: a character-full, and sometimes quirky, room in the buildings attached to the castle with historical features. One queen bed, sleeps up to 2. One queen bed, sleeps up to 2.
Courtyard Room, Twinnable: a Courtyard Room with either two twin beds or one king bed, sleeps 2. Please communicate your bed set-up request to contact@dndinacastle.coms .

Deluxe Castle Room, Twinnable: a luxurious twinnable room within the Castle keep. Please communicate your bed set-up request to contact@dndinacastle.com .
Courtyard State Room: make your Courtyard Room a grand and stately one, with four-poster bed and plenty of character and space.
Castle State Room: enjoy one of few luxurious State Rooms within the Castle Keep. (Note that castle state rooms have quirky features due to the historic nature of the Castle.)
Bishop's Suite: stay in one of the grandest and most beautiful suites in the Castle, with four-poster bed, separate lounge area, plenty of space and a beautiful view.
Queen Anne Suite: stay in one of the most grand and beautiful suites in the Castle, which has hosted nobility and royals alike throughout history. Now with an added reception room, this grand and beautiful suite in the Castle includes period features, a four-poster bed, separate lounge area, and plenty of space.
King James Suite: the most royal room you can stay in at Lumley Castle. a converted chapel, this room was built to accommodate King James VI (aka King James I) when he travelled to London to be crowned.
Shared Room: a solo guest may opt to share a twinned bed room with another (unknown or known) registrant by selecting this room.
*The Shared Room (capacity of 1) option is the only option for which the whole room is NOT purchased. Instead guests are purchasing one bed in a shared room with another guest (stranger or friend) who purchases the same Shared Room option. Each Player Registration may at any time reserve seats in the Campaign of their choice, subject to space.* If you do not reserve a seat, we will assign you to a Campaign 2 months before the event. Seat Reservations are per person. If you have multiple registrations and only one reservation is made, the remaining guests will remain as unspecified and be assigned to a Campaign 2 months before the event.
*Hardcore Mode, Chronicle Mode, and Family Mode Registrants cannot reserve a seat this way; their tables are already specified.
