Jeremy is an actor, director, and writer, who serves as the Co-Host and Resident DM for Three Black Halflings!
Three Black Halflings is a podcast by Jasper William Cartwright, Liv Kennedy, and Jeremy Cobb: three nerdy friends with strong opinions and even stronger Charisma scores. Join them in their quest to explore diversity in the incredible worlds of D&D and pop culture while doling out DM tips, thought-provoking conversations, a merry band of guests, and good times!
Aside from serving as Resident DM for Three Black Halflings, Jeremy has GM'ed professionally for Wizards of the Coast, the entire cast of NADDPod, Brennan Lee Mulligan, Lou Wilson, Krystina Arielle, B. Dave Walters, and many more! He's also the DM for Tales of Wagadu, the official actual play campaign of the The Wagadu Chronicles, an afrofantasy setting currently being developed into an MMORPG! Hullo, Halflings! My name is Jeremy Cobb, but you can call me your DM for D&D in a Castle!
Get ready to jump into a vibrant and exciting world unlike any you've played in before! Whether we're setting out into the vast plains of the post-apocalyptic North Africa-inspired Weird West world of Utaram, the urban canyons of the gothic steampunk noir city of Mavros, or the swamps, jungles, and mountains of the dragon-filled high fantasy world of Udrako, I love to craft unique settings for my games.
I make it a point to integrate player backstories into the plot, allowing for even more emotional investment. You can expect a healthy mix of engaging RP and challenging combats, with a tone ranging from Looney Tunes to Lord of the Rings, with everything in-between. I also prioritize safety at the table, so I talk to each of my players ahead of time and use Lines & Veils to ensure that we don't include anything everyone isn't comfortable with, allowing us all to relax and have the most fun possible. I also love to include music, so you can expect an immersive and thrilling soundtrack to all our adventures!
