Bio

After 22 years of running games, Eric became a known Game Master after joining the team at Felicia Day’s Geek & Sundry in 2016, producing and running shows such as a Doctor Who Campaign, Shield of Tomorrow (Star Trek Adventures) and Callisto 6. Since leaving Geek & Sundry in 2019, he has become part of the D&D in a Castle event, co-written DAWN ATTACK, a sci-fi fantasy comic inspired by the works of Frank Frazetta, been a contributing writer in Monte Cook's book Your Best Game Ever and the rpg SPY GAME. He is a co-founder of the Streampunks rpg group which streams Monday nights on Queue Times twitch channel as well as producing live play shows for Demiplane such as BEACON, the ALIEN rpg actual play and The Claw Firm, the Pathfinder 2e actual play.

Game Style

Eric Campbell is known for his cliff-hangers and story twists and enjoys adding personal stakes to his games in order to give players the opportunity to experience emotional investment in their characters and fellow players. Surrealist fantasy and small personal stories are his favorite flavors of storytelling. He enjoys either telling small tales of heroism in the worlds of D&D, or going completely off the map and doing something from the AD&D era or homebrewing something new. His previous D&D in a Castle campaign was a 5e homebrew adaptation of The Council of Wyrms, a classic AD&D Setting where the players played dragons! Expect something a little different than your usual game at Eric’s table.
